The restrictions put on the Lua that the Binding of Isaac uses do not allow scripts to search for anything outside of the game directory, so this was necessary to make the mod loader work in the most natural manner possible.The Binding of Isaac is one of the most infinitely replayable games ever made. Why? The reason why my mod loader requires –luadebug is so that you do not have to pull mod files into your game directory. Once Repentance allows you to use Workshop mods again, I highly recommend removing –luadebug from your Launch Options. –luadebug allows Lua from The Binding of Isaac many more permissions than it normally has, including reading/writing to any part of your hard drive!
